Unified World Communications achieves Vodafone Advanced Partner status

Dealer Unified World Communications has announced that it has been awarded the status of Advanced Partner in Vodafone UK’s new partner programme, which went live on 1 January.


The new partner programme moves away from the tiered structure of silver, gold and platinum levels, towards a segmented approach with categories based around the type and speciality of services offered.


The new categories include Total Communications, requiring 1,000 hours of training and expertise in fixed and mobile solutions; Advance Status, with capabilities in fixed and mobile and a specialism in one area; Specialist Status, with in-depth knowledge of fixed and mobile as well as additional advanced solutions; and Approved Status, meeting the required service levels in either fixed-line or mobile.  


To achieve Advanced status, Unified World Communications had to demonstrate to Vodafone an in-depth knowledge of Vodafone’s Mobile solutions, with additional expertise in Fixed solutions.


Neil Jones, Managing Director of Unified World Communications, said ‘We have invested heavily in training and internal systems to enable us to supply and support our customers, not just in mobile services, but across a wide range of communications including fixed line, converged telephony, broadband and data services. Launched in 1985 by Neil Jones and Howard Jones, Unified World Communications has its headquarters in Blackburn and services the communications needs of over 1,000 small and medium sized UK organisations.


Vodafone claims that the new partner programme benefits customers by making it easier to choose the right kind of Partner according to its capabilities, and helps partners by keeping them informed of the latest solutions as they emerge.
